Welcome to Glimmers of the Pattern, a Wheel of Time art gallery . If you havn't yet read Robert Jordans series, I suggest you do so. It's bound to be a timeless classic in american fiction. All my art here has been inspired by the books and is just a glimmer of the wonderfully rich world R.J.'s created. Ive created all* the graphics & art on these pages so please respect the fact that they're my property. If you see something you want then e-mail me with the reason why you want it, and chances are I won't care. If you have any comments or questions for me then go here .

Update...October 20/00

The Trolloc model is finally done!!! I added a snapshot of it to the Trolloc Project page, I plan to upload the model itself. I also added a new picture called The Stone Stands. It's the scene from tSR where trollocs raid the Stone, there's a link to a larger version at the bottom of the page. I'd also like to mention a WoT art site called Chronicles of the Dragon. It's a relatively new site that already shows alot of promise. Apparently the owner, Paul Balchin, plans to reread the series and create pictures on a chapter by chapter basis. That's alot of chapters!! stop by and wish him luck.....Later.

Update...June 16/00

Well the Ways have been down for about six months so I decided to put my page up here for now. I added Mindtrap to the gallery and also posted some snap shots of a Trolloc model I've been working on for the past couple months. It has a ways to go before it's done......Later.

Update...October 25/99

Well it's been over a month since the last update and I finally have the Sharom done. The Sharom, for those of you who don't know, was a floating sphere used as a research building. The scene depicts the moment the bore was drilled and the Dark one was set free. The "gouts" of blackness erupting from the sphere gave me some problems, as did the cracked egg shell effect.....Later.

Update...September 12/99

Yet another update, yet another banner ;) kinda like this one so maybe I'll keep it awhile. Ive been working on three new pics, one of Cold Rocks hold, another of the Sharom exploding which will be my first AoL render and one of the Panarch's Palace, none of which I have finished. I figure what's the rush? They'll be done and I'll be 90 by the time RJ finishes the series anyway, somebody ought to just shove the man in a vacuole. I did add a new render though, it's called Beyond the Door. Thanks for all the comments and criticism, keep the mail coming!......Later.

Update...August 07/99

Yahoo!!!..I won the Heron Marked Site Award for the month of July. Well this month Ive put down the mouse and picked up the pencil all in the name of fun. I'm entering a WoT art duel at Engarde, one I think I'm destined to lose but what the heck. The requirements were that the picture had to have something to do with "the people of the sea" and it had to be done by conventional means, no CGI stuff. Next update will have some more digital pics for the gallery, until then, feast your eyes on the Wavemistress..... Nobody abuses paper and pencil like me :) Later.

Update...June 28/99

Posted the Greenman Project, it includes the sketch I made(don't laugh to hard) and some in-process render's & wireframes. Click HERE if you want to skip straight to the finished picture. Thanks for all the comments and criticism, keep the mail coming!

Update...June 6/99

As you've probably noticed, The Ways has been kind enough to host my site, saving me from the doom of Xoom. Iv'e updated a couple of the graphics, created a new GIF for the counter and have added three new pictures. The first, called "Waygate" comes from book one, trapped within the walls of Caemlyn the party is forced to flee into the Ways (how appropriate considering my move to the Ways), finding a Waygate in a merchant's basement. The second is the "Tower of Ghenjei", where Perrin follows Slayer to the mysterious tower only to find Hopper with stern warnings of danger. The last deals with "Stedding Tsofu" as it was described in book two, the great tree's and what I imagine to be ogier homes...they remind me of hobbit holes :) Later

Misc. Projects

I thought it would be cool to show some projects in the process of being completed. Here's an example from myTreesinger picture in which I had to change a normal human head into an ogier's, I call it the Loial Head Project . June 28/99 posted the Greenman Project. June 16/00 posted the Trolloc Project.
