Chapter Membership
When you join the National A.D.V.A., and live in one of the states that's in our chapter area, you are automatically given one year free membership in the chapter. After the first year, the dues are $3.00 per year. If you want to pay for several years at a time, that's fine. Just mark it on the dues statement when you send it in. To open and print the chapter dues notice, click here. This is a PDF file and you need Acrobat Reader, a free download, to open it. Mark Deam can also send this file to you in Microsoft Word if you send him an E-mail and request it. The Microsoft Word file is set up using tables, so you can fill in your information on the computer before you print it out.
Remember that you must belong to the National ADVA in order to be eligible for membership in the chapter. For more information pertaining to membership in the National ADVA, click here.

2009 Reunion - One of our members from Maine has stepped forward & would like to host the chapter reunion in Portland Maine. Our chapter commander went to Portland the last week of July 2008 for a few days to check it out & thought it was very nice.
2008 Reunion - It will be held in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area October 23 to 26. The hotel will be the Drawbridge Inn at 2477 Royal Drive, Fort Mitchell, KY. Preliminary Plans are: Thursday evening, take a River Boat Dinner Cruise on the Ohio River, Friday, visit the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Saturday, take a bus tour of Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati which will include lunch at the Hofbrauhaus in Newport, KY, and the Banquet on Saturday evening. More information will be added as it becomes available. Click here for the Itinerary. Click here for the registration.
2007 Reunion - It was decided at our 2005 chapter reunion that since the 2007 ADVA National Reunion, June 21-24, in Buffalo, NY, is being planned by some of our chapter members, that we would not have a separate chapter reunion. We will however, have a chapter meeting and election of officers immediately following the national meeting on Saturday morning.

2006 Reunion was another great success at the Ronkonkoma Holiday Inn on Long Island, New York, October 19-22, 2006. It was hosted by our Vice-Commander, Connie Steers. On Friday we took an all-day excursion to the "Cradle of Aviation" museum, which included the IMAX movie. Tom Gwynne, the VP for Programs gave us a personal tour since we were a Veterans group. Tom flew F4 Phantoms over Hanoi during the Vietnam War. After a great lunch at the Red Planet Café, which included grilled salmon, we toured the Vanderbilt summer home museum and planetarium. Saturday the group took an all-day tour of the Atlantis Marine World. Saturday night's annual banquet started with a memorial service and was very memorable for the great food and fellowship. ADVA National Commander Larry Watson and Sr. Vice Commander Dave Taylor were with us throughout the reunion. Larry brought us up to date at the banquet, on what was happening at the national level with the new committees and initiatives that have been undertaken. After the banquet we held our annual meeting at which the officers were elected for the 2006-2007 year. All current officers were reelected except for the position of Secretary, which was vacant. Elmer Wright volunteered to fill that post and he was nominated and elected. Thanks Elmer! The chapter's 2007 reunion will coincide with the ADVA National Reunion in Buffalo, since our chapter is sponsoring the National Reunion next year. After the ADVA Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 23rd, the Chapter will have a short annual meeting to elect officers for the following year. The Eastern Chapter's 2008 reunion will be held in the Northern Kentucky / Cincinnati area in late September 2008. We are working with our newly merged New England Chapter members and invite them to join us in Buffalo.
