Help Wanted -- Will Train

Your sound crew needs new volunteers to help cover all services and rehearsals. We currently have 4 on the crew and should have 10 to help spread the load. There is also a need for a "scheduler" to be sure all events, services, and rehearsals are covered.

Seeking Musicians

The 9:15 Praise Group is looking for musicians. Singers, drummers, guitarists, keyboardists, other instruments??? We are looking to begin a second group as well as provide backup musicians for our current group. For more information or if you would like to apply call the Church office.

Chancel Choir The Adult Choir at St. John's. Rehearsals are weekly through early June. The choir usually sings 3 out of 4 Sundays at the 10:30a.m. service..  High School age thru adults are welcome. For more information, please contact the church office.
Bell Choir The Bells of St. John's four octave adult and hanhand bell chime choir. Weekly rehearsals are on Thursdays, at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. We usually ring about once a month at the 8 & 10:30 a.m. services including Festival Sundays, plus several p.m. services. Hand bell substitutes are needed. A  orientation is given for new ringers. For more information, please contact the church office. Ringers may also participate in hand bell workshops and American Guild of English Hand bell Ringers (AGEHR) five state and local festivals and attend hand bell concerts.
Junior Song Birds Junior Songbirds is a musical ministry for children in second through sixth grades. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. during the school year. The Junior Songbirds sing at church one Sunday each month and at occasional other services and events. This choir is open to everyone, no experience is necessary. However, good behavior is expected. Children are welcome to join the choir at any time during the year. Junior Songbirds is an important ministry at St. John's that benefits both the children involved and the people that hear our musical message.
Junior Chimers The Jr. Chimers will practice on Thursday evenings at 6p.m. in the Sanctuary. We are working on a schedule as to when we will play on Sunday mornings. The ability to read simple music is required.
9:15 Service This group of musicians and singers performs the music for the 9:15 a.m. Service. The group rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Contact the Church Office for more information. Come and share your talents with us. We need substitute instrumentalists and singers. Your help is needed at our 9:15 a.m. Sunday Worship Service!
