Newsletters
The Church newsletter for the month is available for downloading in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format.
Please note that to meet ELCA requirements concerning release of personal information on church web sites, the file is password protected. The password for the month is available in the weekly church bulletin during services at church.
Viewing Tip:
To better view the document in Adobe Acrobat, click on "View" on the menu bar and then click on either "Fit Width" or "Fit Visible". This will zoom in on the portion of the newsletter that contains text. You can then page up and down to view the newsletter.

If you follow the above instructions and you get an error that your security settings will not allow this operation, you need to adjust your security settings. Follow the procedure below:
- Click on the "Tools" menu item in the menu bar at the top of the window and then click on the "Internet Options" menu item.
- On the window that pops up, click on the "Security" tab.
- On the "Security" tab, click on the "Custom Level" button.
- Scroll down the list of options to the "downloads" area.
- Under "File downloads", click on the "Enable" option
- Click the "Ok" button
- Click "Yes" to save this setting
- The right click download option will now work.
Note: On both browsers, if you have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader with the browser plugins, you can click on the newsletter link and it will open in a window of the browser.

So, just how much are you saving on this new newsletter policy, you ask. Well, let us show you!
600 copies of the Newsletter were printed and mailed each month here is a breakdown of expenses:
Avg. Newsletter was 15 pages (front & back): 15 x 600 = 9000 pages/month
500 pages come to a ream of paper: 9000 / 500 = 18 reams/month
1 ream costs $5.00: $5.00 x 18 = $90.00 / month in paper
Avg. Newsletter postage cost: $110.00 / month in postage
Risograph master rolls $55.00 / month in rolls (we ALWAYS went thru 1 per newsletter)
Then there is the wear and tear on our machines, as well as the energy costs that I cannot put a value on at this time. $90.00 + $110.00 + $55.00 + $55.00 = $310.00 / month OR $3,410.00 per YEAR!! We appreciate your understanding and acceptance of this change!!
