Because of web space limitations, I had to compress the files - one file per zip archive. I'm using WinZip.
The version of the Make Cakes charm that shipped with The Sims™ Makin' Magic has a serious bug. The charm always backfired and produced loads of toads, but no cakes. Another bug with the kid's charms was that their grades would drop even if they sent a clone off to school. Here is a fix for these bugs:

Note: I have not removed the backfire for the Make Cakes charm - it will still backfire and produce toads instead of cakes if your sim child is not hungry. This was the original intention of the code, but somehow the first and second lines got swapped.
The scarecrow from Unleashed was re-released in Makin' Magic so that it could be enchanted and come alive. Unfortunately, the object file precedence rules did not work as Maxis intended, and the wrong version of the scarecrow object gets used in the game. Here is a fix for this bug:

Note: This file is identical to the one found in the ExpansionShared.far file, but because it has been extracted out, the object file precedence rules will use it instead of the non-enchantable one in the ExpansionPack5.far file.
Bonehilda, the skeleton maid in Makin' Magic, has a tendency to freeze up every now and then. The following object is a replacement for her closet that has a new option to reset her:

This enhancement makes free-range flies swattable by adults and kids. Free-range flies are the ones that wander around, as opposed to plate-flies, garbage-flies, or mouse-carcass-flies.

These enhancements are identical to the original Maxis ones, except that the chances to get magical ingredients from them are increased for children.
This next file is an enhancement to the vendor quests. In the regular game, going on a quest for one of the vendors in Magic Town will get you a random special ingredient. This enhancement checks for what special ingredients you already have, and gives you one that you don't have. If you've got all of them already, the vendor gives you his or her favorite.

Note: This file is not really a fix, but rather a hack. In my opinion, it is more of an enhancement, and not unbalancing to the game.
This file is a hack of the beanstalk. This version is buyable (via Build mode), stays on a lot after bulldozing (like trees), and has two new interactions: one to maximize the potential height of the beanstalk so that it will eventually be climbable, and another to force a new segment of growth.
Download and extract this file into your ExpansionPack7 directory.
Note: If you don't choose to force the growth of these beanstalks, they will grow normally to their predetermined maximum height.
